“And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first [day] of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.”

Nobody’s Lost
Ryder Wilson returned from serving multiple deployments but can’t leave the hell of combat behind him. Frustrated and ashamed of his inability to function in the world as well as the veterans he served with, he retreated, choosing to engage only with those he trusted. When retired Master Sergeant Adam Montague sends him on a mission to protect his sister from some unknown danger, Ryder’s days of hiding out may be over. Can he fulfill his mission without failing again?
Megan Gallagher has two big-brother Marines bent on protecting her from the evils of the world, but she’s tougher than they think. When her older brother sends Ryder, one of his recon Marines, to her doorstep in the wee hours one night following a break-in, she realizes he needs rescuing more than she does. A friendship forms quickly, but unexpected passions run hot and complicate her resolve never to have a romantic relationship, much less marriage. So why are her body and her heart betraying her every time he comes near?
Can these two wounded people lower their defenses long enough to allow love to grow?
Now, that is what the book covers, here is my opinion.
I LOVE all things Kallypso Masters, and this one is no different. Â Kally has done it again. Â If you haven’t read the other books in the series do so now, but this can very easily be a great stand alone novel. Â I HIGHLY recommend that you read all the books in the Rescue Me Series….Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

Edge of Heat
While I wait for the next book in the Rescue Me series, I have been reading another series that is really good. Â I will be honest, I truly wasn’t expecting to like it, but I am enthralled with the story, the characters and the writing. Â So, when you get a chance, check out the Edge of Heat series by Lisa Ladew. Â You will be a pleased as I am.
This series is super simple to follow, because it’s numbered….literally. Â Let me know what you think when you are done. Â Can’t wait to hear from you.

Journaling
I know I haven’t been blogging as I should have, and I’m really going to try to do better….
I’m going to start this explanation with a confession: I have a problem with collecting an insane amount of journals. There’s just something really therapeutic about literally writing something down, I actually get fussed at about it all the time. Â I’m on my computer all day typing, so grabbing a pen + paper at night really lights up soul, which means everything I was going to tell you is actually written down a book somewhere.

Letter To His Mother
My husband wrote a letter to his mother that was read at our wedding. His letter was read by the incomparable Tony Wilson. We can’t thank you enough Tony. You are the best. Bae, I love you to the moon and back.
I’m Married
Two Chicks Book Club (Great idea right?)
So, I’m talking to my favorite cousin and I suggested that we start a blog about the books that we read, considering that we do read a lot of the same books and we tend to read them at the same time and then have in depth discussions about them. Â She said no. She is no fun at all. Â I think that we can have a ton of fun writing a book review blog. Since she doesn’t want to cooperate, I’m going to do my own book reviews here. HA!! (When I can remember)
I’m thinking I might dedicate a tab page to just that…who know? I haven’t given it much thought yet, since the idea just came to me as I was talking to her.
